On Sunday mornings we gather as a church. Our service typically includes singing, prayer and teaching from the Bible. Each service lasts roughly 80 minutes. Everyone is welcome – Christians, non-Christians, visitors, etc.
Services are at 9:00 and 11:00 at Myrtle Philip Community School, 6195 Lorimer Rd. Please note due to Covid-19, you must register to attend the service.
Is there a dress code?
No, there is no dress code. You’ll find that most people dress quite casually, similar to how people are dressed in the rest of Whistler.
Do I have to bring money?
No. Please do not feel obligated to give. We do not pass around a money-basket in the service, but we have a giving table in the back. We welcome and appreciate donations from visitors for those wanting to do so.
Is there something for my kids?
Yes! We have Sunday school available for kids during our 11:00am service, where kids range in age from 5-12 years old. Note that due to Covid-19, we are currently not offering nursery care for babies.
What will the pastor talk about?
The sermons are based on the timeless teachings of the Bible. We believe the Bible is inspired by God, and its truths are every bit as applicable to our lives today as they were for people thousands of years ago. Our sermon series generally follow sections of the Bible, though they are sometimes topic-based.
